We do not hide behind the claim of “Designed in the UK” as many other small studios in our industry do. This often, unbeknownst to customers, translates into “made cheaply and shipped in from China”. Whilst at the same time marketing themselves as environmentally sound and handcrafted. This serves only to increase the studio’s profit margins at the detriment to the environment and the UK economy.

Ask Where each pen is made, not just where the prototype was made

We frequently receive offers from Chinese manufacturers to produce our pens and pencils. However, we decline every time. We proudly handcraft each pen and pencil right here in the UK. While others may try to imitate our story of humble beginnings, we believe that our journey has helped us build a strong, loyal community. We have earned their trust through our dedication to quality, and we remain committed to maintaining that trust as we grow.
